Winter 2010 reveals harsh for batteries
In western Europe and in the USA, last December and the nowadays new January cold decimate numerous batteries.
People use to believe that cold kills batteries. Yet, they are completely wrong!!
Cold is a chemical inhibitor that slows down chemistry and electrical transfers. It thus concerns both the capability to supply current and the ageing process of plates. Conversely, heat accelerates reactions: batteries more easily produce current, but the crystallisation and the damaging of positive plates become also more biting.
As a result: batteries get aged in summer under hot ambiance and fail in winter when they are much more required.
The scheduled treatment with Bat4life tools allows inverting crystallization and ageing. It thus protect you from winter failures.
The Bat4life team wishes you a happy new year 2010.
